Nuclear Therapy

 

Nuclear (Iodine 131) therapy for Feline Hyperthyroidism --$950.00

This includes:

Evaluation of all records and laboratory data pertaining to the case.
Consultation with referring veterinarian and owner prior to, during, and after treatment.
Cost of medication and diets.
Hospitalization for up to seven days. Most patients go home in three days.
Re-treatment (one time only) will be of no charge. Scheduling will be at our discretion.

Does not include:

Any laboratory or diagnostic work performed prior, during, or after treatment.
These services are available from us, but are usually performed by referring veterinarians.
Any additional medication needed to treat concurrent conditions.
Any emergency care (authorized or unauthorized) necessary to treat a life threatening complication.

Nuclear Diagnostic Studies

Thyroid Scan – Used in confirming the need for treatment or for evaluating location of abnormal thyroid tissue. $150.00

Bone Scan – Used in locating damage of diseased bone tissue. $150.00-$250.00

Transportation

Pick up and delivery from your veterinarian is available. Please call for pricing.
